Finding Joy in Art: Sharing my Work from Alaska to the World
Hey there, art lovers! I'm Sarah, the creator behind Raining Joy Arts. If you're drawn to bold, vibrant artwork inspired by the wonders of nature, then you've come to the right place. But my art is more than just pretty colors—it's a reflection of my journey, my struggles, and my triumphs.
For me, creating art isn't just about putting brush to canvas; it's about being seen and heard. It's about sharing what brings me joy and expressing my innermost self. Living in Denali, surrounded by the untamed beauty of Alaska and other natural wonders, I learned the power of connection—to the land, to ourselves, and to each other.
My journey began with a simple desire—to be an example for my younger siblings. In a family marked by struggles with trauma and mental health issues, I wanted to show them that despite our challenges, we are capable of greatness. I wanted to prove that we can rise above our circumstances and embrace the beauty of life.
Fueled by this motivation, I embarked on a series of life-changing adventures. From leaving home for university to sailing around the world on a boat (yes, you read that right!), I chased experiences that pushed me out of my comfort zone and shaped my perspective on life. But it was my move to rural Alaska that truly ignited my passion for art. Surrounded by the raw wilderness and awe-inspiring landscapes, I found solace and inspiration in every corner.

Now, I'm on a mission to share the beauty of Alaska and the natural world with the rest of the world. Combining my mother's artistic talent with my own unique vision, I've turned my passion into a business—Raining Joy Arts. Through my artwork, I aim to inspire others to find joy in the simple things, to cherish every moment, and to embrace their own creative potential.
Everything about Alaska inspires my creativity!
